A finales de los años 50 el arquitecto Antoni Bonet Castellana, exiliado en Argentina, recibió el encargo de diseñar la casa unifamiliar de la familia Gomis-Bertrand.Ese fue el punto de partida que daría lugar a La Ricarda, una de las obras más representativas del racionalismo catalán, una obra que se ha convertido en un icono, bello, lleno de armonía y sensibilidad estética.
